Plugin AssetMatics OBD Device in your vehicle
Locate the OBD port in your vehicle and plug our OBD device into the port.
How to locate the OBD port in your vehicle?
In most of the vehicle models, the port will be placed below or around the steering wheel.
As shown in the given picture, look at the orange dots to spot the position of the OBD ports in your vehicle.
Once you find the port, insert the device into the port. After the device is fixed, please wait for the LEDs of the AssetMatics device to glow before you start the vehicle ignition.
Download the App from the App Store or Playstore
Once you have connected the OBD Device to your vehicle, you need to install the AssetMatics mobile app on your phone.
You can also download the AssetMatics app using the QR Code.
Register to let the device communicate about your vehicle
Open the AssetMatics app on your mobile phone after installation.
Sign up using your mobile number. Enter the OTP that you will receive to proceed after signing up.
Then enter the unique 6 digit character code provided with your AssetMatics device package.
After successful Sign-up process, consider taking a small trip in your vehicle so that you will start receiving communications from your smart vehicle.
